Flowriders singer Colonel Red is dropping his new album “Sweet Liberation” The albums contains contributions on production and keys from flowriders front man Vincent Helbers as well as other producers such as Kaidi Tatham, Adam Rock, Afronaut. This fresh and distinctive album.. explores the artist Colonel Red’s more Hypnotic mid-tempo groove and song blending a poetic and raw soulful vibration profound lyrical message.. with soaringly sweet yet painful vocal performances! Released on the artists own label “Ruff Language” June 10th in Japan distributed by “Grand Gallery” Check it out!

Flowriders was headlined on the jazzrefound festival In Vercelli, a beautiful old town in Italy. They put on an amazing show which was followed by an beautiful perfomance from LAMB. Check the site for the video soon!

North Sea Round Town

Between June 27th and July 12th, Rotterdam will be all about jazz. During the 4th edition of the jazz festival North Sea Round Town, visitors can attend over 150 concerts, exhibitions, jam sessions, masterclasses, lectures, in-house concerts, jazz boat tours and after-parties. Check out The Jazzinvaders July 3rd at De Unie but there’s a lot more worth checking out. What about Hot Brass 8 Band, Jose James, Ben Westbeech, Kim & Erwin Hoorweg?

Monsieur Dubois plays Serge Gainsbourg

Monsieur Dubois has just finished their version of an old track by Serge Gainsbourg. Although the discography of this French musician, poet, chain smoker and sex symbol includes an extremely wide range of musical styles and directions, Mr. Gainsbourg never explored afrobeat, a unique chance for Dubois! The track will be part of a compilation including Gainsbourg songs by a dozen Dutch and Belgium artists, and will be released in September. Keep you posted.
