The annual Jazz meeting in Rotterdam was a great success. Once more a great opportunity for The Dutch Nu-Jazz Movement to promote itself. With members of State of Monc, The Jazzinvaders and Scallymatic Orchestra being present, we received very good feedback on the upcoming album by Scallymatic Orchestra ft Soul Mack and lots of people seemed to enjoy the live performances by The Jazzinvaders (live at Radio 6 as well as their successful showcase later that night).  Lees verder →

Three Dutch Nu-Jazz acts in Rotterdam

The weekend of August 29-30, Monsieur Dubois, The Jazzinvaders and State of Monc will make their appearance at the Jazzfestival Hillegersberg in Rotterdam. Proud to perform on this yearly jazz event in one of the most beautiful communities of Rotterdam, the bands are totally looking forward to let people experience what Dutch Nu-Jazz is all about. State of Monc kicks off on Saturday (18:30 hrs) for a two hour set, on Sunday followed by Monsieur Dubois (13:45 hrs) and The Jazzinvaders (18:30 hrs).
